For you guys running a 4" lift with 35's, do you get any rubbing when turning/going over bumps? I love that look but i heard from some guys that this will lead to fender rubbing. (Sorry for the thread hijack)

Re: 67-72 guys, what's your lift and tires? I want your pics and info!

I never had any rubbing issues even on bumps. My wheels on this combo are 8" wide. You would probably rub with 10" wide rims. Trevor

My dads truck has a 4 inch lift with 35" 12.50 15s and no rubbing, but when it's flexed really hard the front edge of the inner fender is close but it will not rub even when you turn.

I am running 4" and 315/75r16's on 10" rims. I do not rub on full steer as long as it is flat ground.

Let's see some pics! My K5 with a 4" lift and 33" BFGs. I'll probably drop the lift to 2 to 2.5".

Great pics. Jmc72, clean truck. Like those mirrors.
Hey Pete, I think 2.5 would be perfect on that short wheel base. Of coarse looks bada s now..

Thanks! Thanks for the added pics. Stock height or a lift your K20 will look great. I kept stock height on my K20. If I make a change I'd go 2" over stock.

Thanks! I'm worried about the center of gravity, especially with no roll bar, and damage from my GF grabbing onto to the GB door, dash pad, console, etc. to scramble in (even when I help) so want to drop it. I may re-use the springs on my K1500 and get her some really tall high heels :)

Hey JMC_72, I'm curious as to how the positive battery cable is routed to the battery from your Warn 8274. I just purchased a used Warn for my '72 Blazer with same style of bumper and am installing it.

Thanks!

275/70/17's which is about 33" tale but I think a little narrower than 12.5 and a 2.5" Skyjacker soft ride lift.

Yeah i know what you mean lol. My wife is short with bad knees. I scored these a while back. Just trying to figure a way to mount back to the chassis without drilling into the back of my rocker.

Re: 67-72 guys, what's your lift and tires? I want your pics and info!

Shawn those are slick - apparently the rocker boxes were replaced on my K5 by the PO because steps had been welded to the OEM boxes. Too bad he tossed the OEM pieces out - I'm (probably wrongly) imagining Hickey folders gone to the landfill. I actually have a folding little step stool I keep in the cab too - helps when I need to get to the carburetor, etc. under the hood.

Ditto on all the trucks here - I never tire of looking at 4wd's
