Best place to buy rebuilt or NOS axles outright in SoCal

Looks like the D44 and HO52 are more worn than I hoped and need rebuilt or replaced. The cost to rebuild the HO52 makes it out of the question (unless some reasonable kits have surfaced recently) so a 14 bolt FF will be going in the rear. Ive searched a bit online and noticed a beefed up D44 is about the same price as a D60 so that will fill the bill up front.

With the surplus axles drying up where is a good place in Southern California to buy axles outright?

Have you checked out the 100 dollar guy? I think he still gets a few sets of axles here an there.

FYI some of those tires haven't been produced in years and have sat in a military warehouse or storage unit and have long past their usefull date. Many have dry rot on a brand new tire because of age. I have bought trailer loads of these hummer tires and had to throw a fair number of them away because I didn't want to be liable for someone having a blowout on the highway when I sold them on CL.
