Re: shipper

That sounds like a job for uship. Auto carriers will only accept full vehicles.

Also you will want/need the seller to put everything onto pallets for you. If you post the load on uship, the brokers will come out of the woodwork. There's no obligation on your part, if you don't like their prices you don't have to sign up to ship.

You'll need an approximate weight and dimensions to list on uship.

Where in WA or OR may have some to do with it too. You are looking at an area almost 400 miles wide and between 6 and 700 miles long.

That's right down in Newfisher's back yard. It's a pretty damp area, I'd really want to know what I was buying from right around there.

Re: shipper

If your seller is willing to take it to a trucking company terminal you can save a bunch of money. Check with the big regulated carriers (Yellow/Roadway/ABF) and ask about terminal-to-terminal rates. The seller takes it to their loading dock, then you go to their local terminal to pick it up. Lots cheaper that way.

Ok that sounds a lot better than one sitting outside in Salem for the past 15 years.

Bill hit right on it in post #7 in that terminal to terminal can save a big chunk of shipping costs especially if they aren't picking up and dropping off at a business.
