Will a 54 chevy truck front hood emblem fit a 47-53 hood?

I think they will, I've set a 54 hood on the 48 before and almost used it as it fit the truck really well.
I don't think that there is any difference in the actual hood it's self.

Thank you very much I was assuming it would but better to make sure. Update on my truck. Rolling chassis is completely done and ready to rock n roll. Working on the bodywork. Started on the cab first. Needed a lot of work, but cab is in it's final stage of completion. Hoping to apply the dtm 2k primer and having it ready for paint by this weekend then starting on the hood and fenders:metal:

mounting the emblem will require new holes to be drilled..

circled holes are for the 54-55 emblem, drilled holes were to use the earlier ornament, they would have still need opened up more to get the emblem to sit better,
