Help with aftermarket seat mounts

2 Attachment(s)
Hey guys, I'm stoked to be getting some seats this weekend out of a Honda Odyssey. The front seem to be bolt in but the middle and back seats have hook in systems. I have zero experience with stuff like this. Any ideas for the best way to mount these? Any pics of what you have made or done would be awesome to get me started. Thanks so much.

No experience in this but couldn't you get the floor brackets from the Oddyssy and mount them in your floor?

possibly...thinking that may be more work than making my own mounts/brackets. It may also be more expensive. I think I'll call a few junk yards though before I count it out.

It may also depend on the height you will need them to sit at. You might want to set them in and block them up to the height you need first.

I would cut them flat then weld some flat stock steel on the bottom and over hang them on the sides by an inch, drll some holes in them then bolt it to the floor. Ill try to get a pic of what I did on my second row seat to at least give you an idea to toss around.

Sweet thanks...Thats what I was thinking. Did you mount with bolts underneath or on the outside edge?

I did the outside edge. But you could do the inside to have a cleaner installed look. I just did it for ease of installation. The floor isn't really flat it kind of has a peak in the middle of the truck. I had to space it with a piece of steel under the outside edge to keep the seat level.

I think i have the mounts figured out. Now, can anyone
Give me some simple steps to figuring out how to wire the electric seats to work. Read quite a bit but still confused. They are 04 Honda Odyssey seats. Thanks guys!
