Drag link problem
Hi all, I have been searching the threads for a drag link answer and cant seem to find one for my 72 K-20. My question is, did GM change the drag link at some point? I have a solid drag link and all I find are ends with a center sleeve. I was trying to find replacement ends but it doesn't look like the ends are replaceable. Does anyone know where I can find the right one?

Re: Drag link problem
im not fully understanding the question but I will try and answer it the best I can... they do not repop aftermarket draglinks for these trucks u can buy everything else except draglink... u are going to have to find a used one.... if the sleeve u are talking about is the coupler from the outer to inner tierod?

Yes, the drag links got changed from 1pc to having replaceable ends with a sleeve, like the tie rod assembly. Have you checked with NAPA? I just replaced all three pieces on my '72

Re: Drag link problem
Thanks for the info guys. I know that NAPA, Auto Zone and LMC have them. I'm guessing that the reason they went form the one piece to the two piece was for the adjustment? I guess I was just hoping to be able to put new ends in the one that I have.

Re: Drag link problem
Adjustable, and with one piece the whole deal needs replaced when one end goes bad. Three piece makes it more serviceable.
