I like these, too. They have been out right about a year. The end of this month is a farm toy show in VA I'll be going to. I went last year and one of the vendors has one of the places listed on the back, TJ's Diecast in Sterling, VA. Actually, he has a Mustang restoration shop and the diecast shop his son runs. But they worked with Greenlight to produce this series. It is a replica of a truck his dad actually had. They also had something to do with the Midnight Editions. I talked to him for a while. I mentioned how I like the factory looking ones the most, but it's a shame they don't use accurate factory colors, and said since he has a working relationship with GL I'd be glad to offer my help with getting the colors right (after telling how deep I've been into these trucks...forever). He said the Midnight Edition is a factory color. O...K. I guess a Mustang guy would know better. Story of my life.

Great info Tim.. That explains the "Dads" name.

I may not have believed him, but with the name of his shop on the back of the package I'm inclined to believe. They did fine with the red. Others are close enough, while some miss the mark. I'm going to bring a paint chart this time. Since GL makes the most factory looking replicas (in 1/64), I'd like to see them get it right. Not sure why they already don't strive for that. Oh yeah, I did buy both versions of both trucks mentioned. I bought an extra Midnight Edition to swap chassis (for the aluminum slots) with an extra yellow and white camper issue I have. I'm going to replicate the '71 Custom Camper I had, with painting the same color-matched graphics on the camper

Nice! I haven't been able to catch any Greenlight C10s on the shelf. I guess I'll have to resort to ebay to get them.

Until I went to the Shenandoah Valley Gas & Steam Engine Assoc. toy show all mine came from the internet. GL was around for years before I ever any in hobby stores. And they had very few in stock and nothing that interests me. I have never bought on that wasn't from the secondary market (flippers, basically). I'd see about becoming a dealer, but not really into selling dozens to get one of what I want
