I was thinking of taking a look at that one too but the roof rust is a concern.

If it didn't have drip rail rot thru, I'd say buy it. That rust is quite extensive unless you find another clean cab to swap out.

Keep looking. Mine will do a burn out, but the engine is tired...has blowby but otherwise runs decent. There are better trucks out there.

That roof rust would make me keep looking. I was going to say nice truck and to go for it until I saw the roof rust

I saw that one too and thought it was a good deal! Didn't notice the rust though-Id pass on it. There are MUCH better ones to be found here in Cali. Keep looking or you'll kick yourself latter...

...looks like a good daily driver if you can score it for say....$3000-$3200.
Then drive the wheels off of it until it drops.
BUT....I wouldn't invest any appreciable amount of money in it with the roof looking like that and that would definitely not be a restoration candidate for myself.
However...to drive and use...go for it.
All Good

If you could get it for say a quarter[$2500] then put a clip top on it and your good to go. BUT with that roof like that makes you wonder what the rest is like

thanks for all the replies, and yes the rusted roof does concern me to think about what internal rust lies within

I'm with everyone else. They had me, until I saw the roof rust. I would also want to look at the bottom side of the bed.

Good for you, bad for them.
