Horn Questions

In Short I have no horn sounds. I have new Harness, New Horn, correct green (wires marked) wires going to new horn under hood and green wire hooked to OEM green horn wire to horn button.

I called EZ wiring and they have the relay integrated into their fuse panel. They recommended that I disconnect the horn wire and ground it out to something to see if the horn will sound. Tried that and once grounded, I can hear the relay clicking, but no sound from the horn.

Anyone have other ideas I can try?

Thanks
Jake

Re: Horn Questions

Relay may be inop, it happens. You may want to test that first.

Re: Horn Questions

If you get a click but no beep, hot wire the horn directly to make sure the beeper is working. If not, bad ground or dead beeper.

If that works, then make sure the wire between the horn and the relay is working by pulling the plug from the relay and hot wiring that. If not, bad wire.

If THAT works, then check to make sure you have +12 on the other side of the relay. If not, bad wire.

If THAT works, bad relay.
