I'm looking for 2 of the rectangular carriage bolt washers like they use on the auxiliary fuel tanks. I just need the washers

Sorry, I was in a tizzy this morning when I was at the shop, and now I'm headed for California. I'll be back next week.

Were they used on wood floor or metal or both. I have trucks with both, but never paid in attention.

Larry, they were used only on auxiliary gas tanks, but I believe on either floor

Hey Joe. Not quite sure this is what your looking for but these came off my 69 aux fuel tank. If you want these I can send them to you. I'm not using these on my rebuild. 14 inches in length. Great shape for 1969. No washer up top but a 1 inch square top. Comes with bottom washer and nut.

:dohh: the top of the washer is 2 inches. Typo on my part.
They are actually 2 1/4 inches square.

I have the washers, with one catch, I'm not willing to share space with the Copperheads to cut them out. :lol:

If I have somebody out there pulling parts later in the year the washers are yours. I really need to part that truck out and take the rest to the recycler.

This is not a teaser, it's just to let you know they are here and yours when I get time to pull them.
