installing new leaf spring perches ?
 

I would like to install spring perches on a ford 9 inch. on the bench so I can drive the truck until done. Is on a 78 chev. Not much info on the net except welding the perches on at 3-5 angle. Another concern was warping.[ from u-tube videos] The diff. is empty of all components. Put 3 rd. member when welding to help rigidity. Any helpful tips would be nice
