Coil spring towing opinions

I read a couple threads about towing but still want a couple opinions. 68 C-20 coil springs. Are the coils really an issue to tow with? I have the chance to buy a 68 GMC with leafs and a Dana 60. Other than the Eaton axle being obsolete are the coils actually a problem for towing? I want it to be my cruise, car show truck also, so prefer coils. Also I'm coveting a 427 BB for towing and looks. But the LSs run cooler and get better mileage. It would have to be a car version, I hate the big black Vortec plastic cover on top. Thoughts? Towing would be a car carrier possibly a few hundred miles periodically.

I did not tow long distances but my 68 C20 towed well with a load.

What issues might there be?
