Tailgate sawp

This is prolly an asked and answered question but here goes anyway. Will the tailgate from a 1981 blazer work on a 1974 blazer? New to this style of truck so sorry if a stupid question.

Pickup tailgate bolts in too if you want to go to a soft top permanently.
