As a kid growing up my mom would smear bag balm on us for what ever ailed us. But we used to run when she brought out the mercurichrome. Remember the orange stuff that burned worse than the cut ?

Re: Time for some Udder Butter and Bag Balm
When I worked with the concrete every day, I always had a can of Bag Balm in my trowel bucket. Didn't really know any finishers that didn't have at least something similar.

Bag Balm isn't just for hands.....When I was rowing a lot it was good for lubing the oar leathers (cow hide,) oar locks in the sockets, blisters, and seat tracks.
It's the "duct tape" of skin care! |
Re: Time for some Udder Butter and Bag Balm
I use Corn Huskers this time of the year. My hands get so dry they crack wide open without it I have a rough time!

Bag Balm all the way. My in-laws introduced me to that concoction and boy does it work. Hard to find sometimes, but my feet need that lotion from time to time.
