Ls radiator options

Just wondering what everyone is running for radiator and fans with there ls setup? My setup is a L96 with a small cam and 6l90 trans in my 71 c10 suburban. I like the entropy setup but not the price. Looking for something a little more affordable

If you like the entropy but not the price you can go with their import line, Engineered Cooling Products. They are about half the cost and still look good. They don't have a LS swap radiator with both hoses on the same side though. Here is what I am gonna use. I got about $620 in it but most of that is the fans. They move 4000 CFM though!

I don't understand the inlet and outlet on the same side for an "LS" swap radiator. They cost more than a standard radiator "by a lot" and serve no discernable purpose that a normal radiator doesn't/can't do. I say this because the 2008 Escalade that I got my motor/tranny out of had it's radiator inlet and outlet in the standard SB chevy orientation so this indicates to me that it's not necessary to buy the swap radiators. I can see it if you have an issue with clearance on one side but in these trucks that isn't an issue as far as I can tell. Just my 2cents.

Cougar, I'm planning the exact same set up with my L33 swap next month. Are you satisfied with the Be Cool and the T-bird/Cougar fan? Is it the 2-speed fan?

on my 81 swap I just stuck with the stock radiator....no issues...put dual fans on it from summit...

I agree with mongo . No need for an expensive radiator if you stock one is in good working order . I to use electric fans and made a homemade shroud to mount my fans on my 82 . I support over 500hp . If I had no radiator I would still use the stock one . I have maybe 150.00 in mine with the new ford fan and my time invested . Cools rock solid .

same here. stock 4 row with two cheap Spal fans & a fabricated shroud. cooling a supercharged 5.3, a vintage air condenser and an air-to-fluid heat exchanger for the supercharger. truck never gets over 220.

For those running Ford fans, are they available new from places like Rock Auto? Or only junkyards?

Any specific years and models?
