50th interior, colors and sources... ?

Starting a new thread on some old material (no pun intended lol )
50th interiors, carpet and seat (and doorpanel) material color and source(s).

From earlier suggestions, for the SEAT material I contacts SMS http://www.smsautofabrics.com. They appear to have the exact seat material (re: attached photo).

With the CARPET, I've had great results with Stock Interiors for Camaro work and they seems to have decent carpet for the trucks too. I contacted them for some samples (website: http://www.stockinteriors.com ). Reference attached photo of the 5 samples I selected, pictured next to the seat samples.

I'm not looking to "restore" the truck so I'm looking at either "Gold" (570) or "Light Saddle" (511).
With the CARPET, I believe the original color was Ivy Gold, but wondering what color others went with?

DOORPANELS? ...I haven't looked into these much yet, I assume Ivory panels should be readily available (?)

Don't buy carpet from anywhere other than ACC , When you order carpet ALWAYS buy the mass backed product , Your local auto interior shop can get it for you . When you install loop style carpets only use hand tools to prevent snagging the carpet fiber .Acc carpets are made when you order them so they are not stored in a box on a shelf somewhere , when they arrive to you remove them from the box and let it lay out in the sun or in a warm area to relieve any wrinkles during shipping .

I believe the carpet sold through stockinteriors.com is ACC carpet, and they do offer the 'mass-backing' too.
I've done a number of Camaros, and can atest to the quality of ACC as well, good stuff.

Re: 50th interior, colors and sources... ?

Additional questions on the 50th interior:

What color for the doorpanels and armrests?
The 50th interior is referred to as Parchment/Ivory, yet all the repro items I see are listed as white(armrests) or offwhite(doorpanels). For those that are doing their interiors, what did you go with?

'direction' of the seat insert material???

I received the seat upholstery from SMS, fabric, color, etc. look great. I am wondering (from the factory) what 'direction' did the pattern of the insert go? up/down or left/right??

Here's a photo. Notice the diamonds in the pattern go 'up/down' :

In this photo (of an original 50th seat) the pattern goes left/right:

Here's another photo (not a 50th of course) that shows the pattern done 'up/down':

I know this is a subtle detail, but curious how it was done at the factory...

Thanks,

Kevin
