Factory AC - Want to Upgrade Compressor, Condenser and POA

Hey everyone -

I have a factory AC in the cab that is not hooked up but is in great shape. I want to install a sanden compressor, newer style AC condenser and eliminate the POA and install something else.

Any insight into this?
Should I just have POA recalibrated?
Where does someone sell a ready to go conversion for this as Im sure there are many many vehicle not just trucks, that would like to do this.

Thanks!

If stock looks are important, you can get a new aluminum compressor that looks sort of like the old one but is a bit shorter (and a LOT lighter). They're silver so I painted it black and it works great.

The factory compressors leak at the front seal with R134... or at least they very commonly do.

I got mine from Amazon:

I then installed a new parallel-flow condenser and new lines. I didn't restore, adjust, or touch the POA stuff hoping that since I already had R134 fittings, that had been done in the past. I reuse the flex lines but new hard lines and dryer.

With those changes it now blows ice cold all day!

Stock looks are unimportant hence wanting a sanden that bolts onto the front of the head.

I have 3 stock compressors and hoses that are in great shape for someone with that need that I am not going to use. And if I get a new condenser and POA I have good units of that as well.

Cooling of the cab is the utmost concern.

Anything else besides this?

But it appears to be a stock condenser. i have one already.

Would i only need this?

If you look more closely that is not a stock condenser. A stock condenser is serpentine flow the one in your link is parallel flow.
