68 to 71 cab differences
I'm sure this has been asked before but the search option doesnt always work. Maybe because I'm on my phone. Anyway , other than the parking brake lever and obviously the vin, is their a difference in the cabs? I know the front clips are a little different but is the cab its self different?thanks

Re: 68 to 71 cab differences
stuff like parking brake mount all different 68 older have hand pull brake lever under column. i want need a 68 67 cab for my build i dont want a 69 up cab actually im picky like that cuz im doing a clone of the 67 C30 i had a long time ago with a 65 C30 chassis. gonna be rough finding me a 67 68 cab. just some small things are different but nothing major and 67 and some early 68 have smaller ign switch bezel diameter also. and i think ash trays mount changed too

Re: 68 to 71 cab differences
Besides the above mentioned differences
Most Important is 67-68 cabs use a completely different fuse box than 69-72 cabs and they are not interchangeable. So you must use the correct year harness for under dash harness, engine harness & forward lamp harness for the year of cab you are using or cut the fuse box opening off the original cab to graft to the donor cab. another is The 71-72 cab uses a different gas pedal mounting than 67-70 cabs.
