Are brake caliper and rotor dimensions the same 1/2 vs 3/4ton '71-'72?
Can someone tell me if 1/2 and 3/4 ton '71 - '72s take the same caliper and if The outside diameter and thickness of the rotor are the same? I'm aware of the five stud eight stud difference, just need to know the dimensions.

Looking at rock auto.
Centric lists the same caliper for C10 pickups and C20 pickups 1971-1978. C20 rotors - 12.5" OD, 1.29" nom thickness, 1.22" min thickness. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...031746&jsn=597 C10 rotors - 11.85" OD, 1.28" nom thickness, 1.21" min thickness https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...029888&jsn=699 So looks like the thickness is about the same, but diameter is different. |

The calipers use a different piston size if I remember, but when I did the 8 lug swap on my Jimmy I kept the 1/2 ton calipers and 1/2 ton master cylinder but obviously used the 3/4 ton wheel cylinders. I was able to reuse my original parking brake cables FWIW on the donor 9.5" semi-float 14 bolt from an '86 Suburban.
