Help with photos of factory TH350/NP205 mount

I've just purchased a '72 Blazer and the transmission needs to be addressed first. At first it was slipping, and now I barely get any movement forward or backwards. This is complicated by the fact the PO made his own skid-plate and perhaps cross-member. I can take some pictures tonight to illustrate, but in the meanwhile I was hoping someone had some images of what this "normally" should look like underneath. Thanks!

Here are two photos found elsewhere on the board. I believe these are "factory" mounting configurations. I think what is throwing me is that I have a second cross-member behind the transfer case (which isn't in either of these photos). I believe the second cross-member is for the skid plate? Does this sound correct? As I mentioned earlier, the skid plate on mine appears to be homemade. Hopefully I'll have photos of mine tonight, but for now here's what I found from other posts:

Yes, you are correct the second is for the skid plate. It will look like the one in the picture but won't have the 2 side brackets that connect to the top of the frame rail.
