Reassemble cab parts

I am now reassembling my cab interior.

Has anyone made a list of the order to put everything back in under dash ?
Mine was total stripped before blasting and repaint .

I know there’s an install order , I don’t want to do it more than once.

Re: Reassemble cab parts

I did this recently on my 72 Cheyenne that is a A.C. cab. There are some items that need to go in order or you are tearing it out again to get it right. Here is what I did from memory.

-brake pedal assembly
-parking brake
-windshield wiper motor
-dash pad
-items on dash like ignition, cig lighter
-wiring harness
-radio since it above the heater/AC controls
-run any extra wires needed for speakers and or sub wiring
-center AC outlet if you have AC
-heater box assembly
-AC/heater vent hoses - run them long out of the location they need to go
-AC/Heater control panel
-vacuum lines
-door cabin switches in door jab if you have them
-steering column - let hang down so you can attach oil line and plug in to dash bezel
-dash bezel
-glove box carboard inner
-glove box door
-kick panel vents
-cabin light
-install seats last it gives you room to work and have complete access to everything under the dash
