Options???

I was checking this out on CL. Is it me or is some of the options fake? I could be wrong but I don’t think a 400 was an option nor a luggage rack. Nice truck none the less.

Couldn't get a 400 in a in any 4wd. Never seen posi traction front axle before. Doesn't mean its not legit. just never seen it. Yes the options seem extreme
to me as well

Re: Options???

The SPID is not original. Hydroboost was not an option. Cruise control would have been dealer-installed (not on the SPID). 400 CID engine was not available in 1972.

It looks like a nice Blazer, but the SPID doesn't make sense. Why put a 454 in it and produce a SPID that says 400, when neither was available as an original engine?

I was thinking the same thing. I think he’s trying to say it was a big block blazer. Every time I’ve seen the topic come up there was no big block offered in the blazer. Notice the color options are different as well. At least he’s not saying it’s all original. I had a new spid made for mine but have the original IF I ever sale. That’s a big IF, it might be my coffin.

The SPID might of been on there from a previous owner.

Re: Options???

That’s true. The place I got my spid said he could add any options I wanted. Mine is pretty decked out so I kept it the same. My new spid is identical to the original. Pretty hard to tell unless they are next to each other.
