Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I had most of the day today to do things I wanted to do. The kids are at their grandparents and my wife worked today. When my wife returned home this afternoon we had a nice quiet dinner at home. We will have Christmas this Sunday at my inlaws.
Funny thing, whenever I’m in a situation that I need to show my ID (cashing a check at the bank/pulled over for a traffic infraction) people will invariably say “oh,you were born on Christmas, that must’ve been hard as a kid”. I might say “not as hard as it was for my mom”.
Her birthday is the day before mine. She is the greatest lady I know.

Merry Birthday Scott! I'm sure you were a gift for your mom... once the hard work was over. sounds like my kind of perfect day any more. Just doing what you need to want to and feel like doing.

Thanks, I know what you mean. I noticed that I hadn’t seen you post for a bit. I thought I might need to send out a search party.;)
I talked via pm with a long time board pal the other day. He hadn’t posted in a few years. He’s a great guy, but life takes a few turns here and there.
