Super easy install and been great 3 years now. Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: alternator
Depends on how many amps you want really. I've done all my trucks and my 64 SS Impala with this setup. Works great.
84 Buick Riviera 94 amp alternator has plenty of juice. Fits in the factory mounts on drivers side of motor. :chevy: https://www.oreillyauto.com/shop/b/c...a?q=alternator |
Re: alternator
Welcome to the board!
I bought the one Andy mentioned above, internally regulated 94 amp Riviera from OReilly. I couldn't be happier with it! |

I believe mine is for a 87 S10 not 100% sure but it's a 3 wire internally regulated.

Re: alternator
That's the one I buy! There are others I just stick to this one since it works.:chevy:

Re: alternator
The 1 Andy mentioned is a good 1 to get. Easy to replace if need b. As long as u don't need alot of amps for things like a stereo, off road lights, power everything. Your lights will burn brighter than what u have with the old 1 now.
