Dakota Digital/wiring question

L swap.
Single wire for VSS from harness.

I *assume* since using stock signal/sensor I just hook the VSS wire to the wire marked (white/ECU/ECM) SPD SND.

Also - how would you typically wire the 12v Key on. Just run it to the ACC terminal of the ignition switch ?

I have the 12v constant fused at 20A.

Re: Dakota Digital/wiring question

yes, VSS to spd send.

there is a difference between ACC and IGN on a key, IGN stays on during cranking but off when key is off and off when in ACC. ACC turns off when cranking, off when key off, on when key is in ACC. if the wiring calls for IGN, make sure it stays on during cranking.

Thanks joedoh

Acceptable enough to run that wire direct to piggy back on back of the IGN key switch on back of 'key switch' ?

Re: Dakota Digital/wiring question

yep, make sure you inline fuse it!

Re: Dakota Digital/wiring question

thinking --- I have a 21 circuit body/engine wiring harness
probably gonna have a spare fused IGN circuit from that I can use .....

probably a better approach
