Time for new shocks

Hi there.

Advice wanted. Time to put new front shocks in my 70 C10. It’s currently equipped with Hotchkis lowering springs.

Before I swap in new shocks perhaps there are other things I can do while I’m in there to improve the ride?

FWIW the Rear has a No Limit shock relocation kit. And here’s a few snaps of the front driver side suspension.

I have been really happy with the Belltech street performance shock I put on the 66. The Make them in a couple of different lengths so you can size em to fir your truck.

1st.... Are you happy w/how it currently rides/drives?
2nd... There are multiple shock options that are of good quality. Since you have Hotchkis springs, I would see if they have a shock that is possibly already matched for the spring rate.

Beyond that from your original question, just checking things over for loose or worn items.
