R/F brake seized

A while back when driving,I noticed smoke coming from the R/F corner of my 87 Suburban. Once I stopped I noticed the R/F wheel area was very hot. I figured the Caliper was seized. I bought new calipers, rotors, and bearings. After we replaced all of that once we bled the brakes the R/F was still seized up. I have heard that the rubber hoses can come apart inside and not let the fluid flow back and cause the caliper to stick. It looks like my hoses are original/very old. Should I suspect this is my problem?

Most likely. My daughters 2005 had that problem so not crazy to think you might.Hydraulics will push the fluid through but it can't return so the caliper will lock. Just turn the bleed screw and it should release and then lock again.

Thank you for confirming what I was thinking. I already have some new hoses. Just need to find time to replace them. Thanks again.

You're on the right track. It is most likely the hoses. I am about to replace mine as well.
