Ive Found a C10 sitting in a field since 1980. all the parts are here and I have a few donor parts to replace the damage.
Attachment 2044279 Im totally shocked the Dash has not been cut open for the square box stereo's. Attachment 2044280 Working on getting it home and into my garage to disassemble and bag. With Pics to come. |

Sweet! Bring her back to life man. Do you have a direction you want to go with it already in mind? Post as many pics as you want, I think it's safe to say that we all love pictures!

Understand that 69' means 69 feet while '69 generally means 1969. |

This is the Project truck
I went to a swap meet before COVID hit real hard. I was able to find hood, fenders, radiator core support. My objective is to remove the 350 with alum. intake , give it to my brother in law will use it for a rock crawler. Im assuming it has a saginaw 3 or 4 spd. that goes into the garage. glove box says it has a POSI in the rear, I havent cracked the rear cover to do the math and figure out the gear ratio. My wife broke her hip and I as well as her are not liking the new cars with the raised seats a side cushions. I am more into the bench seat design. This will end up being her Truck, when im done. I showed her pictures of trucks and this is one that is closest to what she wants. Not realizing its a 1968 c10 in the picture. Attachment 2044740 So now i have a choice swap front end clip from stock 69 to stock 68. She wants a Darker blue. So im looking at GM paint pallets for her to choose from. My punch list 1. put EFI 383 stroker with TH400 Auto 2. Change front clip to 68 3. Paint truck two tone Blue and white 4 Put Chrome bumpers front and rear 5. Remove fuel tank from behind seat. 6. Install fuel tank into bed behind rear axle like 87 blazer has. 7. run fuel cap up to bedside or inner fender for her to fuel truck. [ATTACH]Attachment 2044742[/ATTACH] Ive run on long enough for today.... Here is a rough outline of the project. Any thoughts im still in the Chalkboard stage of what to do. Before disassembly begins. i need something to do come this next few months. |

Now that i have some time I get to get this project going....

Ive decided on a cab swap so i dont have to play with the damaged roof line and windshield.

This is a factory color, called medium blue, in 1967, not sure what they called it in 68. This is one of the nicest pickups, here, my opinion. I had a friend that had a 67, same color (I say had, he passed about 20 years ago, I will see him again, with Jesus). I need to dig out the pics of his 67, it was as slick as above pickup, use name OregonNed. I hope your wife would like this color, it is such an attention getter! I plan to paint my 67 this color, when that day happens!!! Carry on!!! |

I have welded the gas cap hole so the tank will be in the back under the bed. like the 80's blazer.
