gauge circuit board

has anyone had this happen. I installed my gauge cluster and everything worked perfectly. About two weeks later when I turn on my lights my right turn signal indicator light on the dash comes on. It will stay on at any position with the lights on. If I turn it off the blinker and flashers work fine. I am assuming power is bleeding in from the lamp power from the board. Any ideas? Thanks 79 Silverado.

Weird problems like this usually indicate a bad/loose ground connection.. Check the ground wire connections and check the various screws providing a ground path for the circuit board..

well removed cluster and played with the small cooper strips that connect to the plug. Got it to work but looks like a new board will be needed. Anyone recommend a brand or type or what to stay away from. Thanks
