Re: residual valve 2 front lines
Yup!
If you have two ports to separate lines. Your pic shows only one front port. |
Re: residual valve 2 front lines
You only need to use one of those front outlets. You can plug off the other and use a single line with a single residual valve followed by a T downstream to the L & R sides. Fewer junctions equal less chance of leaks.
Do you have front disc brakes? If the master cylinder is higher than the brake calipers (ie on the firewall) you don't need a front residual valve at all. Gravity does its job for you. Quote:

hi geezer other port on bottom. miricle pie i have camaro clip with front disc brakes frame mounted booster. so master is down low.

Re: residual valve 2 front lines
If you run two lines from the combination valve you will need two residual valves.

Re: residual valve 2 front lines
thanks mr48chev just have one 2lb valve at the moment. got a 3/16 Tee and a plug just debating run 2 lines or 1?

Re: residual valve 2 front lines
No need to run two. One line will suffice and you don't double your workload.

Re: residual valve 2 front lines
getting T ready now . bending lines from master to proportioning valve now a few bends so its taking some time.

Re: residual valve 2 front lines
Don’t forget the need for a 10# valve for the back if you’re got drum brakes.

Re: residual valve 2 front lines
Going through the same process now. I am using my line lock for the tee. not going to be a drag car, just there to save the brake shoes while turning the tires into dust :)

Re: residual valve 2 front lines
Hey cameo linelock is a good Tee.

Re: residual valve 2 front lines
i think what it saved me in fittings will be eaten up in rubber replacements :)
