Now that ECE is Closed Their Doors...
Since ECE has closed their doors, who are we using for disc brake conversion kits and drop spindles and everything else? ECE set the bar high on product quality and customer service.

Re: Now that ECE is Closed Their Doors...
Does McGaughys offer a front disc brake conversion kit or just the spindles? And if they do not offer a whole kit, then what parts (year model, maybe 73 and up) do I need from my local parts dealer (Autozone, Napa, Advance Auto or Oreilly's) to finish it out? I assume backing plates, rotors, hoses, calipers, etc.
Oh and I'm working on a 67 model that currently has manual drums on the front. |

Re: Now that ECE is Closed Their Doors...
I got my kit from performanceonline.com. It came with Western Chassis drop spindles. They shipped about a week after I placed the order. It did not include dust shields, so I ordered them separately. The only issue I ran into was that the cotter pin holes on the upper ball joints were too far up to get the pins in, so I had to ovalize the holes. The ball joints seemed kind of cheap so I replaced the lowers with Moog since they would be a lot of work to replace later.
