'72 K5 with 68 'C10 front clip question
 

I have a '72 K5 and the guy I purchased it from had a '68 front clip installed. I want to return it to a '71-'72 set up. I know I'll need the hood, grill and misc parts, bumper, and possibly the radiator support. Will the fenders work? I have seen some places have fenders that fit 68-72. I was hoping to just find a wrecked truck with a decent front end as a donor truck. Anybody else done a swap like this? Was hoping to keep the fenders that are on it now. Thanks

fenders- 68 Chev same as 68-72 GMC. 69-72 Chev the same

The 68 fenders wont work with the 71chevy parts . You will need 69-72 fenders .

68 fenders are one year only for Chevy but were used on 68- 72 GMC trucks and the Jimmy


I have been looking for a 68 passenger fender for my truck so if you decide to sell I'm interested

Edit . I am assuming your truck is a Chevy k5 and not a Jimmy
