Jose not sure if I told you before or not but pont is looking for a clean high hump..

breeh 12-31-2003 10:23 PM

If pont isn't interested in the 4x4 high hump, I am. Let me know Jose.

jamis 12-31-2003 10:58 PM

Jose what is a "Big block high hump no holes" is the transmission hump? If it is how does that make a diffrence in the installation. I'm going to use a big block and I was wondering if I will need this part.

jose 12-31-2003 11:22 PM

I'll let you know if pont takes it or not breeh .

jamis High hump no holes from factory were on 2wd trucks with big block and 400 tranny . Yes that is the tranny hump .

jamis here is a picture of the high hump . Jose

dinnut 01-01-2004 06:17 PM

whats the difference in the big block and the 4x4 humps couldnt they both be used for both?

jose 01-01-2004 06:36 PM

The 4x4 humps have the holes for the transfer case shifter and the hole for the 4 speed shifter . The 2wd big blocks with auto did not have any holes . You could use the hump with out holes on a 4x4 but then you would have to cut out the holes for the TC shifter and the 4 speed shifter . The auto 4x4 high hump only has one hole for the TC shifter . Jose

Jose here is a picture of my cab, will the cover fit?

jose 01-01-2004 08:51 PM

That is a low hump so it did come with an automatic .

jamis 01-01-2004 08:59 PM

Yes I knew it was auto I just wasnt shure on the hump. So if you think I have to use it and it will fit. Send me a pm on how you would like payment and a total to zip code 34120

No. That cover wont fit.
Yours is a diffrent style. Yours is welded in, and the style Jose has is a "bolt in style".

I know mine is part of the floor sheet metal, but I'm swapping over to a BB and a TH400 and have some concerns about the fit.
I did a search on the subject and found most peeps say its needed and comes stock on the BB/th400 combos from factory.

sub4rvr 01-01-2004 11:22 PM
