Side Glass Removal Question

I plan to have my single wall top raptor lined but I need to change the side glass. I found some info here to get seal warm and plastic tools to pry out, this is original near as I can tell it's not very flexible. Do they reproduce single-wall window seals?
Thanks 7D2N

Single wall glass seals are available. SoffSeal product maybe? Classic Heartbeat and GMC Pauls both carry these.

Take a sharp knife to your old rubber. Cut off one side and push out the glass.

Thanks Tom, I will probably have to cut the old rubber seals not to damage my glass.

I guess this goes without saying, but have someone outside (or inside) to keep the wondow from falling.

A little glass cleaner on the rubber will make your utility knife slice through it much more easily.

Check as you push. I have seen a number where adhesive was used and it gets on the top itself. Easy to break a window when pushing. But yep, the utility knife rips right thru most of the time.

Made me think of a funny story.....I had a top once that was way beyond any repair. Just not a lot to work with but it had two really nice side windows, Sun ray at that.

A guy wanted to buy them but they had been glued in the rubber and the rubber had been glues to the top. He offered way more that what I thought they were worth but back tracked when they would not come out. He said at home he could use a heat gun and get them out.

I told him to stand back and I uses a circular/skill saw and cut his two windows out giving him a bit of top as well.

The next day he posted he had met the "Marcel Leddbetter" of Blazer parts.

Not suggested as a means to remove your windows.
