1964 Chevy C30 U.S. Navy Truck
5 Attachment(s)
Hello everyone I have a 1964 Chevrolet C30 9ft stepside that was used on the China Lakes Naval Base during the 60s and 70s. As far as I am aware it was apart of the Walleye bombing program and acted as the tow vehicle for the planes. Also, it would tow the various equipment across the base as well. It had a P-knuckle hitch attached to the bumper for towing and it currently has 5.13 rear gears in it for towing. Trying to learn more about the truck and China Lakes Naval base. Any help I’d appreciate. Thank you.

What's up with the wheels? It appears as though you've been swapping them around? 17.5" or 19.5"? The 19.5's weren't a common choice for the average buyer. When you do see them, they are often found on government or forestry vehicles. Do not scrap them, as they are hard to find.
