Flexplate question
 
I’m putting in a 350 GM performance crate engine in a 72 K20 and it has a one piece rear main seal. Every flexplate at my local parts stores have a convex plexplate which puts the ring gear at 5/8” back of block compared to 15/16 for a two piece rear main flexplate. Should mention it’s a turbo 350 trans. I’m worried I’m going to be pulling the torque converter too far from the transmission. Surely others have put this common crate engine in? What are you doing for flexplate?

when I put in my crate motor, 1 piece RMS/external balance rear) I used this flexplate and I also have a TH350 in my 67 Camaro

I used the summit brand SFI rated flexplate on my L31-R vortec crate motor and it has worked perfectly.

Was it concave or straight? I ordered one from Jess today that’s supposed to work
