K10 rear sport bumper brackets

1 Attachment(s)
I ordered a set of rear brackets for my 67 K10 long/fleet from classic parts. Part number 65-348B, intended to fit a 4x4, but they do not fit. I've searched this site and it appears to be a common issue and I'm told that 2wd brackets for trucks with coil springs will work. This photo is from another member, the top bracket is what I ordered and does not fit the bottom is what I believe I need. Can anyone confirm this? Also, if anyone has a bracket could you post the measurements for the bolt holes, red and yellow marks?

The coil spring brackets are the ones you need.
The top bracket in your picture is for SHORT BED leaf spring trucks or blazers.
(Because the rear leaf spring mount is so close to the end of the frame rail)

All other applications take the lower bracket in your picture.

Thanks. Sure seems like alot of vendors are messing people up by advertising these as brackets needed for a 4x4. The others are listed as 2wd so I never thought I'd need those. Thanks again.

I to need for a k10, would it be possible to get correct part numbers for brackets needed?

Or if anyone has any used GM brackets for a k10 I would be interested im those as well.

Neither one is for a SWB 2WD with leaf springs. I know the vendors claim so, I'd like to see that one, but good luck, the frames are so rare the error goes unnoticed. I modified the shorter inner brackets to work. Even the outers have to be modified for said frame.

The shorter inner brackets are a 5" bolt pattern, the longer brackets are 7" or 7.1", can't remember. The frame's bolt pattern for a 2WD SWB with leaf springs is 5.3". At least for a 1971 it is.

For what worth, I believe the sport bumper should be near 8", measured from the frame rails.
