Trying to identify drop spindles…

I’m trying to identify a pair of CPP drop spindles the previous owner put on my ‘68. I’m swapping over to a QA1 front suspension and the spindles need to be 73-87 style to work.

It’s my understanding that CPP has the same part number cast in all its first three generation C10 drop spindles and then they just ream the holes out for the differences in ball joints/tie rods for the different years. I can see that the drop spindles have the thicker outer rod ends from the 73+ up (then it has the conversion sleeves to connect it to the earlier inner tie rod). Would it be safe to assume that if the tie rod end is for the 73+ that the ball joints and whole spindle are the 73+ style? I don’t know how to tell the differences in the ball joints with it installed.
