I, and several others on a 1st gen Camaro forum, got that starter on Rockauto for around $70. It is a permanent magnet gear reduction starter. I bought mine a few years ago, maybe they don't carry them anymore. Its a new starter, not reman.

Here is the Remp part # listing and cross refrence chart from the 10MT to PG starter with or without the R terminal for 153 or 168 tooth FW

Re: small starter

The bolt pattern on a stock GM starter changes based on the flywheel/flexplate diameter. 153 teeth or 12.75" uses the straight pattern and 168 teeth or 14" uses the diagonal pattern. If you have a straight pattern, it's most likely a car engine. I've never seen a truck with the small flexplate. When looking for a replacement, most aftermarket gear reductions will reference the tooth count/size or some will have dual patterns that will work with either.
