Any ideas what these were for?

Ok, have a set of these on both doors at the leading edge of the vent windows. I haven't seen side mirrors that use them, but that was my first guess . . . Any ideas?

Or something to do with exterior mirrors. [They are not WC Jrs, though.] CB Antenna mounting brackets? IDK |

I wonder why '68 West Coast Jrs were bolted to the top of the door frame then? |

One advantage these have over the other kind is you could put those metal window deflectors on. With the RPO D29 ''RV Jr Mirrors'' the top mount interferes. |
Re: Any ideas what these were for?
Bus Type extension mirrors, RPO D38. Or an aftermarket version like Roberk.
