Heater core replacement

On a 1971 Jimmy will I need to remove the hood latch or drop the fender to get the heater core out? I have removed all the bolts from the outside and inside that I can see but it is still in there pretty good. I have read things saying yes and no. Anybody know for sure the best way? Thanks

If you have a lot of pationts and a couple of wobbleys you can do it without removing the inner fender. You will still need to take loose the hood hinge though and prop up the hood in the back. Be carefull which heater core you buy. Most parts houses carry the Made in Mexico ones and they do not fit. We carry the ones made in the USA and are a perfect fit. $39.95 plus shipping.
