'23 Turkey Rod Run pics

I went to the Turkey Run in Daytona Saturday. After 7 hours, 14,000 steps and a sore back I couldn't take any more and that was only looking at cars. Didn't have enough in me to look at vendors or the swap meet.
The pics that follow are 95% AD trucks (my selfish interest) with only a couple TF trucks (there were a bunch) of one-off interest. If I don't get them all the pics in this first go 'round I'll add the balance to this thread later. Side note: There is a section of the Turkey Run allocated to Pro Street vehicles commonly referred to as "The Blower Boys". Here's a link if your interested to a video which shows in the first part their grand entrance into the show. 102 shown (yeah I counted them) but videographer cut it short so didn't get them all. Supposedly there were 150. Impressive. https://youtu.be/CcY90b8dJyU?si=BRUKjjfsDy2mM64N (Scroll to beginning. I can't get the right url to start there.) I don't remember the prices of all the trucks for sale and not all pictured were for sale. Maybe you can zoom in on the ones with signs or writing on the windshields and see what asking prices were. $60k to $70k was not uncommon.

It was all I could do to walk around and get pics of as many trucks as possible so I didn't take detail or multiple shots which I suspect many of you would like to see. As it was, phone battery was down to 7% by the time I left.
Caught a few (when reaction time was quick enough) which were on the move. Attachment 2317250 Attachment 2317251 Attachment 2317252 Attachment 2317253 Attachment 2317254 |

There were many more AD trucks this year than I remember in the past. And the quality was up there too. Prices? Well at this show $45K was the new $35k.
Twin turbo truck in 3rd pic had turbos located in place of headlights. Comparing the red truck with all the others for sale, at $45k it was in my opinion the best value. It was pristine from every point of view and superior to those priced as much as $20k more. Attachment 2317255 Attachment 2317256 Attachment 2317257 Attachment 2317258 Attachment 2317259 |

Did take one interior shot of the this red truck. Center console caught my eye. I appreciate the style and impressive workmanship but not what I would do.

Nice photos, Thanks for sharing. A guy that I follow FB who lives in
Daytona usually has a couple of fresh builds for sale there. I haven't seen much out of him lately as I think he may have hit the burn out phase for a while. |

First truck is not specifically an AD but grill is and bed is so just disregard the middle.

Last of the ADs.
Attachment 2317324 Now a couple of the promised TFs. First, had to admire the paintwork. Second, one of the Blower Boys built by an outfit know as Blown Mafia. Attachment 2317325 Attachment 2317326 This is what happens when a gearhead with excessive discretionary income and an overly supportive spouse has been exposed to too much nitrous. I like it though. Wouldn't dare drive it, but I like it. (You can see it driving in the video linked in post #1.) Attachment 2317327 One more AD interior pic I forgot I'd taken. Attachment 2317328 |

Lastly, I'll throw these pics in though not from the Turkey Run. Took these in September in Lyons, CO. Still upholding their working heritage even though at an easier pace as commercial yard art/signage. Nice to see them in their natural habitat though.
