Disc brake conversion 8-lug caliper question

Hey guys!
A couple of questions. I have a conversion kit for my C20 that has been setting for a couple of years. It has a little surface rust and I want to take it apart to clean it up. How the heck do you take apart the calipers? There is a single bolt in the top that takes an allen ead to remove. took the bolt out but still can't figure out how to dissassemble it.
Also, I got a little tired last night and put my control arms on the wrong side. Good thing I haven't tightened anything down :) I know the bottom one is on wrong because of the shock mount but the top one I beleive is on the wrong side as well. Just wanted to verify that. Thank you all for your input. I'm going to get this thing put back together by spring no matter what.

Are you trying to get the caliper off the backing plate? Or are you waning to get the caliper apart to rebuild?

Yes, your upper wishbones are on the wrong side,
the embossing of the rubber stop is at the back.

I was just going to post that.
This upper control arm goes on the passenger side.
