Info for manual throttle cable for '68 (not accelerator cable)
I have a manual throttle cable on my '72 K5 for use if I needed to throttle up my idle when using a winch for example. I was thinking of adding one to my 68 Suburban. The K5 has a cable operated accelerator but the '68 has a rod from the peddle to carb. Does anyone have an example of how the cable would connect? I had a manual throttle on my '58 3100 but that was almost 50 years ago and I don't remember how it hooked up. Any help would be appreciated.

If you end up going with the correct for 1967-70 manual throttle setup, I have this special throttle cable firewall clip I save from my 1970. I went with the 1971-72 throttle cable setup instead of the rod.
