Need: NOS GM 72 grille shell and insert
 

Picked up my mint original 72 4x4 swb at the Omaha terminal from the transport company and the grille was broken from what appears a loading ramp . Talked to DAS and they said get two estimates but it sounds like they are only limited to $250 since I declined their extra insurance so I assume I am on my own on this one.
What kind of price-location is out there on these two items? Does GM still offer them?

Mark, I sold a 72 NOS grill and surround for $500 a couple months ago, if this guy buys my 72 I'll have the ones I got stored back for sale. Thanks Randy

I'm going to use a figure of $500 for the parts on the estimates as I will not put an aftermarket in this truck. Not sure what will happen on a settlement but it sure was disgusting as the original grille was very nice and clean. I'm still amazed at the condition of this shortbox. I have never seen such a jewel like this in 20 some years. It is all original paint and totally rust free. Keep me in mind if you end of with your NOS grille available. I'm in no hurry at the moment as I am trying to get finished up and moved into the new house.

Any decent dealer will still stock both inner and outer. My neighbor is a dealer parts guy and they keep 4 in stock at all times. Retail is about 600 for both pieces. Good guy price is 410 for both.

I bought a set of sport mirrors from them and they came with dents in them, they do not guarantee anything when you buy from them.

gmpartsdirect has the outer grille for 299.06 and the inner for 97.16
