I made a TH350 swap to a TH400 in my 72 C-10 and had to get a different cross member,also shortend my 2-piece drive shaft "1"inch on the front half.To balance it I drilled 2 small holes 180 degrees from one another,one at each end and put 1/2 a quart of 30 wt oil in it then plugged the holes with sheet metal screws and silicon,perfect fluid balance.
