I don't know if 38's would work or not but my guess would be no. I would guess 36's if you didn't go with too wide of a tire. Rim width and offset will also determine what fits. I'm running 35's on 14" wide rims and I can get my tires to rub under very hard turns coming out of my driveway. I'm running an 8" suspension lift.
