Longhorn-
Mine has had plenty of my blood also. I think it's something in the maintenance schedule! After 4 years, I have brought mine back to "head turner" status. It started as an old farm truck. I took everything off, peeled off the house paint and started welding! The six was trashed so I dropped in a small block 350, 294 Comp Cam, Weiand Tarantula high rise, Holley 750( Overkill I know), and a set of 94 heads. New wood for the step side bed and some headers. Got pinched for time and had to re-assemble earlier than I wanted, so the body is not as smooth as I was going for initially. Painted it gloss black to show the flaws, and put her down on Craigar Nomads with centers. When I get that wicked gear out, it should come together. It's never really over though...it just gets more expensive. HaHa Thanks for the exhaust advise too.
