Beware, not all small blocks have this hole tapped clear through to the fuel pump rod. Lithium grease is great if you want to pull the 1/4" bolts out and pull the cover also. 18 gauge electrical wire works great. Push the fuel pump rod up into place, loop the wire around the rod and hold tension straight up as you place the fuel pump into place. Then just let one end of the wire go and pull it out.
