I know crankshaft wise, its cast -> forged -> billet in terms of strength......I wonder if billet tow hooks would be worth a damn?
I have always appreciated original stuff....old stuff in general, if it made it this far....I figure the odds of me breaking it are at least slightly reduced.....for a repo hook, I have to agree with everyone else....i wouldn't pay more than what other off the shelf hooks cost.....I am not all that concerned about the 'original look' I would rather keep the difference from buying a current production hook, and keep the rest for other parts.
If you can make it cost effective, and still turn a few bucks...put me in line!
